Our Story.

// EST. 2024 — ATL Branch

It started in 1989 — a small Thanksgiving musical performed by elementary school children at a Los Angeles church. What was meant to be one performance turned into something more, fueled by the joy of the kids and the dedication of their families.

In 1990, founders John and Sandy Byon officially launched God's Image with twelve members. Today, the ministry reaches roughly 1,500 students every week across branches in Los Angeles, Washington D.C., San Francisco, Arizona, San Diego, Seattle, Vancouver, Seoul, Sydney, Dallas, Brazil — and Atlanta.

The Atlanta branch was started in 2024 by David and Blair Kim with a heart to equip and empower the next generation of worshippers in Atlanta. Every Saturday, our students gather to sing, dance, and grow together as disciples of Jesus.
